My Dear Friends in Inner Wheel,

I take this opportunity to wish all of you a very happy and prosperous Chinese New Year! Enjoy your reunions with your family and friends. Those of you who will be travelling this weekend, please drive carefully and make happy memories.

Registrations for the District AGM are coming in fast. I will be attending the next AGM Organising Committee meeting in Singapore on the 15th February. This might be the last committee meeting that I attend before the AGM on 21st March. Our friends in Singapore are working very hard to make this AGM a success. I will be happy to take with me any more Registration forms if you send it to me before then.

On the home front, I will be sending my youngest baby off to University in Kota Baru this Chinese New Year weekend. Although it is not overseas, after having her at home for the past 22 years, Kota Baru, seems as far away and as remote as Timbuktu. Although we have had a Rotary Club there for many years already, we still don’t have an Inner Wheel club there. Wouldn’t it be nice to have some of my Inner Wheel sisters there to keep an eye on her?
