My dear Inner Wheel Friends,

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all. The month of December always reminds us of holidays and family time. Do make extra effort to visit your friends and relatives during these holidays. For what are we, without our families?

Try to include your family members in your club projects. This way, they wouldn’t feel left out of your activities. Young children can provide free entertainment for our functions. They also get to meet the other children of your club members and they can establish lasting friendships themselves. Older children can help to organize the functions with their new and young ideas. Think about it.

I have already completed my visits to 11 clubs and I have another 7 more to go. I have to say that all our clubs are doing good projects while enjoying good fellowship and friendship. We have to remember that Inner Wheel is first of all a Friendship club and we do some Social projects along the way. By the time this message is posted, I would have attended the Charter Installation of the latest club, Inner Wheel Club of Ioras. Welcome to Inner Wheel!

We have collected RM10,500 for the typhoon victims in Philippines. I wish to express my thanks to all the clubs who contributed. We will be sending it out to our Inner Wheel friends in Philippines shortly and you can rest assured that it will be put to good use.

Do mark your calendar for 21st and 22nd March 2014 for our Joint District AGM in Singapore. Let’s renew old friendships and create new ones.
