Dear All
Three months have flown by since the new District Committee was installed in office — it has been great learning experience for me …
Though I would have loved to attend all club installations sometimes it has not been possible due to prior commitments.
Welcome aboard — all new Presidents and their committees — there is work ahead for us!
The nomination for International Inner Wheel Board Director has successfully been completed — thanks to National Representative Datin Pearl and our experienced Senior Inner Wheel members Datin Joan, Jessie and Joy whose advice and encouragement is always appreciated.
Congratulations Lucy Tokuzip — our elected nominee for IIWBD 2015/2016.
Next we have to nominate candidates for National Representative and Deputy National Representative for 2015/16.
The list of names of eligible candidates has been sent to all club Presidents — your nomination should be sent in by end of October to National Representative Datin Pearl.
A list of eligible candidates for IIWBD for 2016/2017 has also been sent — your club’s nomination must reach National Representative by end of November.
There will also be a photography competition — photos that best display the IIW theme for 2014/ 15 will be given prizes. So get your cameras ready! The entries should be sent to IIW HQ via email — admin@internationalinnerwheel.org by 31st December 2014.
Come November — it is time for committed and enthusiastic members to get ready to offer themselves for District positions 2015/2016. So ladies do come forward — it is a privilege to serve in this wonderful organization!
District 330 is inviting members to join us on a visit to Bangalore, India to celebrate International Inner Wheel day with our Inner Wheel sisters. District ISO Swarnalatha has been in contact with Meena Nachiapan of Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore Orchards. Air Asia has only one flight per day and that is a night flight, so we will have to book the flight on Friday, January 9th and the return on Tuesday, January 12th night. So book your flights early to get good deals! Spouses and children are all welcome! Will be writing to Club Presidents and Secretaries in greater detail soon.
The 35th AGM of District 330 will be held in Ipoh on March 20th to 22nd, 2014. The venue is Syeun Hotel, Ipoh. For the informal nite — all clubs are invited to put up a dance, song or skit. The theme for the official Banquet night is “A Kebaya Affair”.
There will be an optional tour to interesting places in Ipoh on Sunday morning. And do encourage your spouses to come along as we have planned a golf morning for them!
I have just completed two club visits to date — IWC of Klang and IWC Selangor.
Before the end of the year I have been scheduled to visit IWC of PJ, Intan Kuala Lumpur, Mutiara Selangor, Seremban and Kuantan. Still waiting for confirmation from the other clubs.
