Welcome to Inner Wheel year
2014-2015.
At the dawn of a fresh Inner Wheel Year there is new commitment, new enthusiasm and new dedication. This beautiful organisation has united us through Friendship and Service.
My hearty congratulations to all the vibrant Executive Committee Members of the District, and the versatile Presidents and office bearers of the respective clubs of Inner Wheel District 330. Our International Inner Wheel President, Abba Gupta has given us a very appropriate theme for this year, "Light the Path".
There is darkness in life and there are lights.
We, the Inner Wheel members are one of the lights,
the light of all lights!
Let us spread the light of friendship and love not only within our own individual clubs - but look outside the circle and strengthen the primary objective of Inner Wheel - to promote friendship.
I thank all members of the Executive Committee who have willingly accepted to serve District 330 along with me. However, the position of District Editor is still vacant but I am hopeful that there will be someone in the eighteen clubs with a total membership of about 400 who will surface soon to accept the position.
I would like to encourage members of all Inner Wheel Clubs to offer themselves to serve in the District - this is a unique and gratifying experience. The Club Presidents should be in the forefront encouraging your members to step ahead and experience new pastures. Working together with members from different clubs opens your mind to different opinions and ideas resulting in a constructive and progressive solution. You have to be in the team to enjoy this comradeship!!
I have come to believe that each of us has a personal calling that is as unique as a fingerprint and the best way to succeed and achieve self satisfaction is to help others in the form of service, working hard and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.
Finally, I would like to inform everyone that the International Inner Wheel 16th Triennial Convention 2015 will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark from 7th-9th May 2015.
Let us continue to spread the light and brighten as many paths as possible!!
