Joint project with Rotary Club of Butterworth Women’s Health camp
President Shanthi K Shanmugam and seven members of IWC Butterworth joined the Rotary Club of Butterworth in its Women’s Health Camp in conjunction with International Women’s Day on Sunday, 10th March 2024. IWC Butterworth contributed in cash and kind towards the effort.
The camp was held at a local school, SMK Mak Mandin in Butterworth and was well received by the public due to the free health screening and other medical consultations provided by project partners.
It was an opportunity to have a joint project with the Rotarians after a long time and both clubs enjoyed the easy camaraderie among spouses and friends. Later the ladies, as usual, took the opportunity to have fellowship over lunch.
