Monthly meeting

Inner Wheel Club Johor Bahru held its monthly meeting on the 22nd of October 2023. This meeting marked the group’s first gathering post-installation. In conjunction with a captivating Halloween theme, members eagerly embraced the opportunity to dress up and engage in spooky makeovers. It was an occasion that promised both camaraderie and festivity.

The meeting commenced as Secretary Sumathi called the meeting to order. This was followed by the lighting of candles and the recitation of a Friendship Poem by Vice President Seema Unnithan. The Exco members presented their monthly reports, offering insights into the club’s recent activities and initiatives.

The day truly came alive when the members engaged in a series of lively and entertaining activities. The fun started with the celebration of October babies’ birthdays for Sumathi and Santhi. Activities such as cupcake decorating, guessing the weight of a pumpkin, and estimating the number of sweets in a jar were organized, bringing out the competitive spirit among the members. In the end, Seema and Santhi emerged victorious in the challenges.

Adding an extra layer of fun to the event was a prize awarded for the best Halloween-themed costume. Secretary Sumathi’s remarkable costume stood out and she was honoured with a prize. The afternoon concluded on a high note, leaving everyone brimming with joy and contentment.

The day’s gathering not only provided a platform for engaging activities but also fostered a sense of community and togetherness. The evening ended as members carried with them memories of shared laughter, camaraderie, and the spirit of Inner Wheel, reinforcing the bonds of friendship that the club is built upon.
