President Shanthi Shanmugam, IW District 330 Editor Lucy Barrock, Committee member Manjit Kaur and Club member Sellam Murugiah of the Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Butterworth attended the Brain Awareness Programme organised by Penang Neurosurgery Society at Vervea, vision city, Simpang Ampat, Penang on Saturday 26th August 2023.
The ladies met with the programme organisers including Dr. Senthil Kumar, Neurosurgery Department of the Penang General Hospital and members of the Rotary Club of Butterworth. Various talks were given by medical specialists on Brain Health and checked the state of their health at several booths which were dispensing free consultations and after being given clean bills of health, the ladies had their arms painted. In the end, they had an enjoyable fellowship over lunch and discussed future projects.
