Inner Wheel Club Butterworth

The Inner Wheel Club of Butterworth organised yet another free workshop for women empowerment on the topic of Hair-cutting on the 18th March 2023 from 9am to 5pm at Kolej Komuniti Seberang Jaya. A total of 20 participants took part, some of whom were arranged by MPKK Taman Sri Rambai Fasa 1.
The instructor Puan Nuraza binti Hashim and coordinator Puan Busmina binti Abdul Hadi conducted the workshop explaining how to go about Bob-cut and Concave-cut. All steps were explained explicitly by the instructor giving participants the opportunity to pick up a new skill for some extra source of income for them.
Club members Secretary Dr.Jayashri Nerali and Vice President Shanthi Shanmugam assisted throughout the workshop which was much appreciated. As it was a full day workshop, three hearty meals were provided.
Participants were issued certificates of attendance and photographs taken for record purposes. Participants also gave glowing testimonials and expressed their gratitude to the organisers for the opportunity availed to them.
It was indeed a very useful workshop with much knowledge gained by the participants. This is the fourth workshop under the MyICE Projects by the Inner Wheel Club of Butterworth. The Club has done well in its quest to contribute towards society and to support the current International Women’s Day theme of Embrace Equality in its activities.
