Annual Donation for Widows, Single Mothers and Children
Inner Wheel Club of Pearl of the Orient

The Inner Wheel Club of Pearl of the Orient Penang (IWC Pearl of the Orient) annually donates to aid women and children from the lower income group. This year was no different and the donation took place on 10th December 2022.
President Janet Chong and Immediate Past President (IPP) Merlin Gasper of the Club met up at the playground of the Taman Free School Flats with a number of widows, single mothers and their children. The ladies handed out hampers much to the delight of the recipients.
President Janet and IPP Merlin were gratified by the cheer that they managed to spread especially among the children. The project was successfully accomplished thanks to the generosity of Club Members.
IWC Pearl of the Orient has been doing its bit to alleviate the suffering of the poor and the needy for a number of years now. The Club will be doing more charity projects as well as fellowship activities in the coming months.
