December 2022’s Club meeting and Fellowship with Guests

The Inner Wheel Club of Penang’s December club meeting was held at President Arvind’s residence. Fourteen club members and Five guests attended the meeting. The club was honoured to have the presence of guests adding to the delightful flow of conversation all around. And of course, President Arvind’s culinary skills demonstrating a personal Chicken Curry lent to a convivial atmosphere. The guests were Rotary Ann Khaswinder, Rotarian Stephanie Wong, Dr Vimala Menon, President Sarala Nair of IWC Ipoh East and President Dr Theveeka Reddy of IWC Klang.
Those who could not attend the meeting, missed out on President Arvind’s delicious carrot-walnut cake; which was especially baked to celebrate the birthdays of Oct-Dec babies. The ladies all tucked in to a wide array of dishes.
Faye Ong led everyone in reciting the Candle of Friendship. President Arvind and Secretary Latha breezed through the meeting to outline several forthcoming activities.
Everyone enjoyed the amazing camaraderie over the delicious food and dessert “kooi leng koe’’- a herbal type jelly brought by Rotarian Stephanie Wong of Rotary Club of Penang. It was a truly memorable meeting indeed.
