Donation of English Books
Inner Wheel Club of Petaling Jaya

The Inner Wheel Club of Petaling Jaya (IWC PJ) had the pleasure of donating a pile of English books to SKJC (Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Cina) in Jinjang, Kuala Lumpur. Past District Chairman (PDC) Padmini Menon, Past District Secretary (PDS) Jayanthi Pillay and Past President (PP) Usha Ramakrishnan handed over the books which comprised of reference books, story books and encyclopaedias to the Headmistress, Ms. Tan Geok Kian on 23rd Nov 2022.
It was a good to see the neat library, the well-kept school compound and the strategically-placed motivation posters which are encouraging for the mind-set of the students and now they have more English books to read. As the saying goes “Reading is to the mind what Exercise is to the body”.
IWCPJ is always happy to contribute towards children’s progress and women’s betterment. The club will work wonders this term through realising these goals.
