Care and concern by connecting with members during COVID-19 full lockdown

IWC of Bangsar conducted their 7th General Meeting on 5th June 2021. This meeting was on a virtual platform where members shared their experiences since their last physical gathering two months ago.
Two members shared their experiences in participating in the 18th International Inner Wheel Convention.
Meeta Chahal shared about her experience in attending a Healing Therapy programme specially conducted about women victims of domestic violence. Domestic violence has been reported to be rampant during this pandemic period. Members were given information about the programme to seek out any victim in need of the healing therapy.
Buljeet Kaur shared her experience of receiving the COVID-19 vaccination. She spoke of the side-effects felt. Two other members shared about the harrowing experience of their close relatives infected by the virus and their devastation of being in ICU and on the ventilator.
Members talked about indoor exercises and the current situation at their neighbourhoods. The virtual chat while in lockdown was indeed interactive and allowed each and everyone to show care and concern of each other’s well-being.
