While the rage of the virus continues, Hari Raya celebration was a low key affair confined to individual homes. Thus, we marked our Raya celebration by supporting Pertubuhan Kanak-kanak Yatim dan Cacat Perlindinguan Selangor in Kota Damansara.
Upon learning that the caretakers need provision, medicines and a new water pump IWCSS transferred our contributionto the establishment’s bank account to purchase the necessary groceries. We are very grateful to a kind donor, who bought the water pump for the centre.
The caretaker sent us the photos of the residents and the purchases made from our donation. It is indeed a missed opportunity that the members could not be present to spend a day with these lovely and cheerful people. When all the storm has settled and normalcy is restored, we hope to spend a day with the members of this establishment.
