Visiting the Orang Asli settlements located in the State of Perak was not an easy task, especially with the spike in COVID-19 cases and also the controlled movements recently,. Yet this project was made possible by the joint effort with Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS). On 15 May 2021 at 7AM, President Caylize Sabado led a team of 4 new members of IWCKL, namely Ms Anna Chua, Ms Angie Tai, Ms Angelyn Koh and Ms Soo Ooi Keng to courageously brace through the odds to arrive at Kampung 16 and Kampung 18 at 2PM.
Upon their arrival, they were warmly welcomed by Encik Yohanes and five Orang Asli women. Proper SOPs were observed throughout the event, with a quick and simple presentation carried out at the venue.

The contingent from the Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur together with 20 MRCS members stayed overnight at the Hill Resort Berhad, Cameron Highlands, which was hosted by President Caylize before returning to Kuala Lumpur the next day.
A mission accomplished with much joy in their hearts. Well done to President Caylize, Commandant Brendan, the brave team members and to all the generous donors.
