The Inner Wheel Club of Subang Selangor, after a few meetings on zoom, bravely went ahead with a physical meeting, mainly to induct a new member, Bharathi. We have been postponing this due to the uncertain times we are experiencing.
Welcome Bharathi, to the camaraderie we share in IWCSS. We were joined by 2 potential members and we sincerely hope that they will join us soon.
Our member, vivacious Jayanthi opened her doors to her lovely home for the meeting and the induction ceremony. Indeed there was so much of joy, laughter and merriment and rightfully so as nothing beats a physical meeting. President Indira had to frequently remind members to get back to the business of the day. District Chairman Shanti Menon who was to visit one of the clubs outside Selangor, was able to attend as interstate travel was further tightened. It was indeed lovely to have her in our midst as she has been busy with her club visits.
The lunch served by our hostess was a variety of dishes cooked painstakingly by her and it was simply delicious. We also had a cake for 3 of our members who celebrated their birthdays recently.
Some of the members who couldn’t join had to be contented with seeing the photos.
