Inaugural meeting of the Inner Wheel Club of Azul, a next generation club

The Inner Wheel Club of Butterworth, with President Daisy at its helm, has successfully concluded the journey to form a next generation club, the Inner Wheel Club of Azul of District 330. This is the first new generation club in the north of District 330 in West Malaysia. It is set up to encourage young women between 18 and 35 years of age to join Inner Wheel.
As the ‘mother club’, IWC Butterworth helped host the hybrid Inaugural Meeting of the new club with the District Committee joining virtually and sharing screen with members who could not attend the physical get-together held at the Light Hotel, Seberang Jaya on Sunday, 25th April 2021.
District Chairman Shanti Menon welcomed everyone warmly and handed the meeting over to Extension Chairman Juanita Lee to explain the formalities. The atmosphere was one of friendship whilst maintaining due decorum and protocol.
The members of the Inner Wheel Club of Azul led by Charter President Nor Ilyani not only introduced themselves and their club’s name but also their newly minted logo. They explained their motivation for the design much to the delight of the attendees who cheered them on.
The Meeting culminated with the young ladies bonding over a Ramadan buffet dinner at the Light Hotel.
