Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur gives help to spastic children

On Thursday morning, 22 April 2021,  President  Caylize Sabado led a  team of 12 Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur members and 3 guests to a  project at the Spastic Children’s Association of Selangor & Federal Territory (SCAS&FT).

 

Mrs Linda Lim, the  Honorary Secretary of SCAS&FT, who is also a member of the Club,  delivered the welcome address. She also presented a video of spastic children carrying out their daily activities at the Association premises. President Caylize then delivered a speech whereby pledging to source for donors to help the Association get through these trying times of the pandemic.

 

President Caylize is extremely grateful that the sponsors whom she had approached were very kind and generous to donate at a short notice. A vote of thanks to the following:-

 

1. Nozomi Marketing Sdn Bhd for supplying one year of hygiene products.
2. Beryl’s chocolate & Confectionery Sdn Bhd for boxes of chocolates.
3. Niichi fashion contributed some jeans for the workers in the Association.
4. Boxes of adult and child sized face masks contributed by Ms Vivienne Loh, PP Linda Lim, PP Datin Regina and PP Margaret Yee.
5. Groceries, wall clocks and bottles of Clorox by Dr Lee Su Kim, Ms Lena Chua and Mrs Gurvinder Kaur

 

Besides the donations in kind, three of our generous members,  Ms Angelyn Koh, Mrs Jinny Lum and Ms Teo Yoke Bee respectively donated RM900 to the Association.  Lastly, Mrs Linda Lim thanked IWCKL on behalf of the Association for all the kind donations.

 

After the presentation, the guests were treated to a scrumptious lunch, painstakingly prepared by the Association in-house chef.

 

It was a well-attended and successful project carried by the Inner Wheel Club of Kuala Lumpur.
